Holly Leaves

How is your weekend going? Today was a cold, rainy and windy day (it even hailed!), but it was a perfect day for staying home, keeping warm...and stamping! And today I discovered a super easy way to make cute holly leaves:

To make the leaves, I simply cut out a small rectangle of cardstock and used my circle punch to punch out the curved portions of the leaves, overlapping slightly to create the points. Super easy, and super cute (at least I think so!). I stamped the leaves with a few flourishes and inked the edges. A little button and twine made for a perfect berry. And if you look closely, you can see where I added a little glimmer with my Stardust pen on the leaves:

And isn't that velvet ric rac trim too cute? It's another find at my LSS. I will definitely need to go back for more of that in the near future!

Enjoy the rest of your weekend...and stay warm!

Stamps: Signature Christmas, Fancy Flourishes (PTI)

True Black, Spring Moss, Vintage Touch Chai & Chamomile (PTI)
