So, although I feel great about getting an early start on my decorating, I didn't manage to do much in the Christmas craft arena. I had big plans, as usual, but it just didn't happen for me. I am, however, up to my elbows in chipboard and glitter and hope to post a project with that very soon. Just as soon as I figure out what I'm doing...but, until then, I have a sparkly winter card to share:

I recently purchased a My Mind's Eye holiday paper pack from Michaels. The whole pack is full of glittered papers! Although I in no way need more Christmas patterned paper, who can resist the combination of Christmas, glitter and a 40% of coupon?!? Not me! So I got right to work making a glittery winter card with one of my favorite holiday sets, Papertrey Ink's Made of Snow. I just love that little snowman!
So, I'd love to know what you did this weekend. Make any holiday projects? Decorate? Did anyone else get out their Christmas music collection this weekend and totally annoy their husband by playing it non stop?!? Hee, hee, hee...

Stamps: Made of Snow, Vintage Labels (PTI)
Paper: Ocean Tides (PTI), Wonderful Winter Glittered Holiday Papers (My Mind's Eye), white cardstock
Ink: Dark Chocolate, Ripe Avocado (PTI)
Other: Aqua Mist Copic Color Collection, Copic Colorless Blender (PTI), foam mounting tape (3M), Label One die (Spellbinders), Holiday Mix Vintage Buttons (PTI), colored pencils, snowflake punch (Martha Stewart Crafts), Stardust pen (Sakura)

Well as usual I too had big plans for the four no actually 7 days I had off..... I did manage to complete a little I still have way much more to get done! I did manage to finish a couple of candy bar/gift card holders, but had planned to finish quite a bit more!
Frosty is fantastic. Love the snowy scene. I worked on Friday, did chores on Saturday so I could spend Sunday stamping. I guess it was not meant to be, I tweaked my neck at 9 AM and have spent my day alternating heat and ice. Maybe next weekend will be better.
Love the glitter! I lifted your acorn card, making the ovals with my Cricut. Stamped Hero Arts Flourish Background Cling and used some Stickles...sooo cute! Thanks for the wonderful idea! Back to school tomorrow for me- 23 first graders, here I come!
Such a sweet card! Love the colour combo. I, too, am looking at Christmas paper, stamps etc... when I still have tons of ideas for the stuff I have...There's so much neat material out there!
Great card!
Jennifer this is gorgeous! Best card I have seen with Made of Snow in a long time.
Beautimous card as usual!! I had to work both Thursday and Friday so my husband and daughter went out shopping for me. Thanks to them I'm about 75% done with my shopping. They did such a good job that I told them they were hired again for next year!! Saturday we had our Thanksgiving and Sunday was a day spent with my sisters.
