Autumn Blessings

Monday, Monday. Well, at least it's almost over, for me anyway. And what a dreary, rainy day we've had here. Tonight we have a high wind warning, which always makes me a little nervous. I always worry about a power outage, over sleeping and then (of course) how will I do my hair in the morning?!? You know, all the important

Well, one thing that makes a dreary day a little brighter is new stuff! The other day my package arrived from Purple Onion Designs and I was so excited to make some cards using the new stamps. I just love them all! So much so, I even busted out some Fall props for my photos!

For the background on this card, I used one of my absolute favorite POD stamps, Vintage Damask Background. This stamp just works on any card, I tell ya. I love how the Creamy Caramel ink from Stampin' Up! worked on this rusty cardstock. I've had this cardstock in my stash for forever, and it is just perfect for Fall themed cards. I'm so glad to have this cornucopia stamp - it feels a void in my stamp collection for Fall and Thanksgiving.

Well, I better get a move on. The lights are starting to blink already so I gotta go find a few flashlights! Wish me luck...

Stamps: Thanksgiving Feast Sentiment Set, Cornucopia, Vintage Damask Background (Purple Onion Designs)
Paper: rust cardstock, Kraft, Vintage Cream (PTI)
Ink: Creamy Caramel (SU!), Dark Chocolate (PTI)
Other: foam mounting tape (3M), Dark Chocolate satin luxe ribbon (PTI), Label One & Tags Trio dies (Spellbinders), colored pencils, blender pen (SU!), Melon Berry vintage button (PTI), orange adhesive rhinestone (KaiserCraft)

Such an elegant card. I love that background. Hope you didn't lose power last night. Down here in Portland, some did. Ours stayed on and I was on time for work this morning. Darn.
