I'm so excited about this month's Blog Hop because the challenge is to share something (anything!) homemade for the holidays. Tonight I'm sharing a little snowman ornament:
This is my attempt at a little vintage Christmas style. My snowman started out as a simple Styrofoam ball. I then added black rhinestones for the eyes and smile and an orange paper cone for the nose. I added little cheeks with some pink pastel chalk, then covered the whole thing with white glue and glittered it up with Martha Stewart's crystal coarse glitter. I love that stuff! It really gives it that special something that you need for Christmas!
The hat is just an Aqua Mist cardstock cone that I stamped with Damask Designs in Water Lily Green ink. Some wired eyelash ribbon around the base and top add a little more bling and remind me of the old silver tinsel that my Mom insisted we put on the tree every year (okay, maybe it was us kids who really wanted it).
I'm frantically trying to post this on time, so if you don't see the supplies list yet, check back, as I'm adding it very soon! Thanks for stopping by and I can't wait to see what YOU created tonight!
P.S. Am I the only one listening to Christmas music tonight?!?

Stamps: Damask Designs, Merry & Bright Additions (PTI)
Paper: Aqua Mist, Vintage Cream, Orange Zest (PTI)
Ink: True Black, Water Lily Green, Hibiscus Pink (PTI)
Other: Hibiscus Burst vintage buttons (PTI), crochet thread, silver and white wired eyelash ribbon, Sweet Blush satin luxe ribbon (PTI), black rhinestones (KaiserCrafts), Stampin' Pastels - pink (SU!), Styrofoam ball, crystal coarse glitter (Martha Stewart Crafts), glue dots
