Fresh Baked Goodness

Yesterday I mentioned that I've been doing a lot of cooking and baking lately. The other night I tried this recipe, (thanks to Sherelle for sharing!) and these cookies did not disappoint! They smelled terrific baking in the oven; the spicy goodness of Fall enveloped my entire house...yum!

So after doubling the recipe as suggested, I realize that it's dangerous to have this many cookies at my disposal. So I decided to take some to work to share with my co-workers and I made a little card to set next to the plate:

This was my first time really inkin' up the Fall Elegance set, and I don't know why it took me so long! These swirly pumpkins are too cute and I love the swirls and flourishes for leaves. I masked the lighter pumpkin so the vines would appear to be growing from behind and underneath. I stamped the darker pumpkin on another piece of cardstock, cut it out, and adhered with foam dimensional tape to make it stand out more. I thought the curved rectangle dies made a nice shape for this assemble. I just added a small piece of folded Kraft cardstock on the back to make a little stand for it. Now...

we'll see if they actually make it out of the house...LOL!

Paper:
Kraft, Vintage Cream (PTI)
Ink:
Ripe Avocado, Dark Chocolate, Melon Berry, Summer Sunrise (PTI), Pumpkin Spice, Old Olive, Chocolate Chip (SU!)
Other: curve rectangle dies (Spellbinders), foam mounting tape (3M)

I love your little pumpkin card! I bought this set, too, but haven't inked it up yet - life's a bit hectic right now. . .
