Boo to You

Happy Saturday! It's been way too long since my last post - probably a testament to the week I've had. It started with me mysteriously losing a ton of my blog graphics and photos after doing some "cleaning" on my computer. Then there's the case of the cranky five year old. I think she's in a new "phase" or something. Her favorite things to say these days are, "That's no fair!" and "Oh, mmmaaannnn!" Can't wait for that to be over. And then there's just the spattering of this and that, which consumes your week before you know it and the realization sets in that Halloween is coming quickly and that costume won't sew itself! Whew! Speaking of Halloween, I did manage to squeeze in a quick, simple card:

Of course you know how I feel about Kraft, but I am finding that it's the perfect Halloween color! I like it paired with the orange and black. Isn't that ghost cute? I stamped the tag once on the orange, then again onto white cardstock. I cut him out and adhered him on the tag with foam tape so he would stick out a little more. I then added some light shading:

I hope you all have a great weekend. We are having some friends over for dinner tonight, which should be a good time. I'm trying this recipe for dessert. I love recipes with a short list of ingredients!

Stamps: 2009 Halloween Tags, Vintage Labels (PTI)
Ink: True Black (PTI)
Paper: Kraft, True Black, Orange Zest (PTI)
Other: foam mounting tape (3M), classic circle Nestabilities dies (Spellbinders)

that is a great card and I see how Kraft would be a perfect match for halloween images!! it goes great with the orange for sure. I had to laugh when I read your frustrations over your 5 year old becuase my son said "oh maaaaaaannnn" all the time and continues to do so now that he is 10 ... I am guessing he will continue to use it until he is an adult. And I'm happy because if he wasn't using that, he'd probably be using a bad word!! I just smile and realize that I am doing a great job parenting after all!! You should do the same :-)
