Happy Fall!

I hope you enjoyed your first day of fall! I can't believe it, but we had temperatures in the high 80s today! It felt like summer, not like the end of September! Even though the weather was warm, I couldn't resist sharing a fall inspired card using my favorite pumpkin image and some new stamps and cardstock:

I'm really liking this new Orange Zest cardstock from Papertrey Ink (PTI). I like the cream and orange together - it's so "creamsicle," you know? And I can't forget to mention the Vintage Labels stamp set from PTI! I almost passed on getting this set, but I'm so glad I came to my senses and ordered it! I can see where I will get a ton of use out of it. And I love the flourishes that are included, too. I stamped one of them repeatedly on the label to create a crazy, swirly background for my pumpkin. Love it!

Gotta go take the cookies out of the oven before they burn. I like mine soft in the middle...yum! Good night and see you soon...and Happy Fall!

Stamps: Polka Dot Basics, Vintage Labels, Spooky Sweets, 2009 Autumn Tags (PTI)
Cardstock: Orange Zest, Vintage Cream, Kraft, Spring Moss (PTI)
Ink: Dark Chocolate, Vintage Cream, Ripe Avocado, Summer Sunrise (PTI), Pumpkin Spice (Stampin' Up!)
Tools: Label One, classic and scallop circle Nestabilities dies (Spellbinders), corner rounder (Fiskars)

Other: rhinestones (KaiserCrafts), foam mounting tape (3M)

Do love the flourishes around the pumpkin. Very pretty card. I did pass on the labels set so we will see if I regret it. Still waiting patiently for my order to get here. It is supposed to be delivered today. Thanks for sharing.
