Soaring By

Thanks to all of you for your concern over our recent heat wave here...lol. And, no, I don't have air conditioning in my home. Most people who live in Washington State don't - it's really more of a luxury than a necessity. That's mostly because our temperatures are so mild and we just wouldn't use the AC that often. But this summer...it's tempting me to reconsider! Thankfully we are currently experiencing a little cool down - it was a very pleasant 77 degrees today. Just perfect for me!

So...are you tired of buttons yet? I hope not...I was serious when I said I've gone button crazy!

This is a little 3 x 3 inch card I made with some scraps I had leftover from other projects. Whenever possible, I like to take some time to use up some of those odds and ends, rather than shoving them aside and watching them grow and grow. If you click on the photo, you can see that I sponged a little blue ink to create some soft clouds behind my hot air balloons. I tell ya, this set is so addicting to use!

That's it for me tonight. Thanks to all of you for your comments - they really do make a girl feel special:) And a special shout out to all the "lurkers" who have come out from behind the shadows...lol! So glad you could join us!
