Have I mentioned how much I love Autumn? I do, I really do. I get dirty looks from some people when I say that, especially when summer isn't over yet. But I still love it: the colors, the textures, the smells, the food, the decorating, the "nesting," the weather...I love it all!

Lately I've been trying to use up some of my leftover scraps of paper. I challenge myself to see how many little bits and pieces I can use up. I found a good little bit of orange patterned paper the other day and decided to bust out some Autumn stamps. This is what I came up with:

I have always loved this acorn stamp from Papertrey Ink's First Fruits set. I could have done a better job with the shading, but I decided to use it anyway. And I love Kraft paper on any project, but it just seems so right for Fall. And, at the moment, I am hooked on making square cards. They cost more postage to mail, but they are sooo worth it.

So, is summer winding down where you live? Are you gearing up for a change of seasons, or do you want your summer days to never end?!?

Very pretty card. The acorn is fabulous. I am not a heat/summer person. I love Fall! I am the happiest in "sweater weather". Love the fall colors. Since it was 96 in Portland yesterday, I am only dreaming of Fall.

I love Autumn, too, Jennifer. Great projects you did. I can't wait to get started on some Fall stuff myself.

Hi Jennifer,
I am also a big fan of autumn - unfortunately we've had a heat wave here in New England. I'm yearning for that cool, crisp air which makes life so delightful and everything seem possible! ( I wilt in warm weather!)
So, thanks for the lovely reminder (in a square package) that fall is coming!
