Happy Saturday! This morning we woke up to a little rain...and I like it! We're all cozy in our robes and jammies, drinking coffee and lounging around. My little nephew, Simon, came over last night and had a sleepover with his favorite cousin. The pair of them are so cute. Despite their gender and age differences (Olivia's five, Simon's almost eight), they play together very well. That's mostly due to the fact that Simon is a sweet, gentle boy and is extremely patient to my daughter's demands ("Simon, you're the prince, you have to stand here. Put this on, it's your crown.").
In honor of all this sweetness, I have a sweet card using (my favorite) buttons! I just can't stop, and this cherry stamp has to be one of my favorites:
I made this card using my circle classic and scallop Nestabilities dies. The tutorial for making hinged cards is in the left column on my blog, if you want to give it a try. They are fun cards to make. For the sentiment, I placed the stamp on the acrylic block in a curved position so that it would fit around the card. I like how that turned out - such a nice benefit of the clear stamps.
