Happily Ever After

Look at me! It's barely been 24 hours and I'm posting again! My shameless plug for more comments seemed to work (thanks!) and I'm feeling encouraged to post more. Keep up the good work...lol!

Recently I was faced with doing something I don't think I've ever done...make a card for a wedding. I'm not sure if fewer people are getting married, or if I'm just not invited, but I don't think I've ever made a wedding card. So here's what I came up with:

This was a simple card to make and I love using the ribbon tag die from Spellbinders. I think the little adhesive pearls really make it. And isn't that a great sentiment for a wedding? And I truly do mean it, considering this was the groom's third wedding. They say the third time's a charm...lol. Okay, sorry, that was rude. But funny.

Stamps: Damask Designs, Wishing You (PTI)
Ink: Berry Sorbet, Dark Chocolate (PTI)
Cardstock: Vintage Cream, Dark Chocolate, Berry Sorbet (PTI)
Tools: ribbon tag die (Spellbinders), corner rounder punch
Ribbon: Berry Sorbet satin (PTI)
Other: adhesive pearls (KaiserCrafts), foam mounting tape (3M)

Oooooh, I'm first! What a hoot---but I'm with you, if it's number three, let's hope it's forever!! Oh, and I LOVE that you are asking about who has air conditioning and who doesn't---interesting!

How is that Seatle heat treating you? I think you stole our Chicago Summer...hahaha. it has been chilly here in IL mostly in the 70s and the air has not been on very often.

Can't believe you have never made a wedding card. Looks fabulous and I love the color combo!

Surprising that you haven't made a wedding card. I don't make very many myself. Love the colors in this one. The sentiment is perfect.

Beautiful card, love the colors! I was just wondering how you chose those colors? I don't really think of those as "traditional" wedding colors. And Im really wishing I had the Damask set now, I've seen so many elegant cards created with it!

You wedding card turned out wonderful!! I'm afraid to say that I've never made one either. Glad to see that your remodeling is done and that you have more time to do other things that you want to. I just had to comment tonight cuz I didn't want you to be talking to yourself like I do.
