Well, what a busy long holiday weekend! Hope you all enjoyed your Thanksgiving and survived Black Friday shopping, if you dared. I went shopping with my sister, leaving the house at 5:30 a.m. (yuck). But it was all worth it - I found some great deals and took care of several people on my gift list. But I still have more to do, including making more Christmas cards! Here's one that I made last month for Purple Onion Designs:

I really like making Christmas cards using non-traditional colors and, in this case, shapes! I used my circle and scallop Nestabilities again to make this round card, like I did here and here. After stamping and coloring the images, I added some punched snowflakes and placed little buttons in their centers. I also added Liquid Pearls on the tree for ornaments. Some fun pom pom ribbon and Aqua Mist polka dot ribbon finished it off.
Well, back to the work routine tomorrow morning! Which is a good thing - I think I've consumed more than my fair share of turkey and pie!

Stamps: Merriness and Deluxe Labels (Purple Onion Designs)
Ink: Dark Chocolate and Ripe Avocado (PTI), Antique Linen (Ranger)
Cardstock: Dark Chocolate, Vintage Cream, Sweet Blush (PTI)
Tools: Cuttlebug (ProvoCraft), circle and scallop circle Nestabilities dies (Spellbinders), snowflake punch (Martha Stewart Crafts)
Ribbon: Aqua Mist swiss dot satin (PTI), white wired pom pom
Other: Stardust pen (Sakura), Koh-I-Noor woodless colour pencils, buttons, Pink Petal Liquid Pearls (Ranger)
