Happy Veteran's Day! No day off for me, but that's okay. If you are home today, do a little extra crafting for me, will ya'?

I made this card right off when I received my Snowfall stamp set from Papertrey Ink, then I stuck it away and forgot all about it! So...here it is! It's a simple little card, I just wanted to get ink on all those new stamps! The background was embossed with my Swiss Dots embossing folder and I dragged my white pigment ink pad over it to give it a snowy look. I punched out a few snowflakes and stamped them with one of the smaller stamps from the set. The sentiment stamp I curved slightly as I placed it on my acrylic block, so that it would flow a bit better with the snowflake flurry.
And, baby, it is getting cold outside! I started going sweater shopping this weekend, only to discover the latest trend seems to be short sleeves. Now...does that make sense? A short sleeved cable knit sweater? I guess the idea here is to layer? Why do I suddenly feel so un-hip?
