Around And Around We Go

So...I have discovered something new. And I like it. A lot. After I made this card, I just knew that I’d have to make more. I love the round shape! And the scallops…I’ve been addicted to those for a long time now.

I have made many of these round cards, but I’ll spare you all of them just now. But I wanted to share this card since I haven’t really shown much of this snowman from the Made of Snow set from Papertrey Ink. I love anything to do with snowmen, so of course I had to get this set. I made this card using my round and scallop Nestabilities from Spellbinders. I stamped a subtle snowflake background using Spring Moss. The snowman was stamped in Dark Chocolate and I paper pieced his scarf and mitten. I added a bit of shading to him and colored in his carrot nose and added soft pink cheeks. When it was all done, I punched some snowflakes, adhered them to the card and added a few touches with my Stardust pen. And I couldn't’t forget about the ribbon! I love this white pom pom ribbon and the brown and white polka dots. You can never have enough ribbon or glitter! Or too many round cards...more to come!

This is adorable! I just love his matching scarf and mittens. The round card is very cool. Speaking of snowmen. I got all of the stuff I need to make your snowman ornaments. Now all I need is time. Have a great week. -Molly B
