More Felt Flowers

The other day I got together with my friend, Jim, to create some cards for Halloween and Fall. He came up with this flower design using little felt flowers. This is my version, with an extra color added - Purely Pomegranate. I really like this color combination.

The vase and flowers were stamped onto Vintage Cream cardstock that I cut out using my rectangle Nestabilities. Before removing the die, I stippled some color around the edges, just to soften it and bring in more of the Pumpkin and Chocolate colors. I paper pieced the vase and added three little flowers with brads. I layered that onto a Chocolate scallop rectangle and the third layer is a Pumpkin rectangle that I rounded the corners on. The background got a few Pomegranate flourishes before I added my sentiment at the bottom.

The possibilities on these little felt flowers are endless! Has anyone seen the felt snowflakes from Stampin' Up! in their new mini catalog? Oh my...on my wish list it goes.
