Chick-a-Doo

Well, I managed to miss most of the World Card Making Day excitement in blog land due to being out of the house all day Saturday. However, Mandy at Limelight Papercrafts is having one more little challenge on her blog because it's her birthday today! Happy Birthday, Mandy! Here's my little card, just for you!

Isn't this Chick-a-Doo patterned paper from SEI too cute? So much so, that I decided I didn't need to do too much to this card. I wanted the print to be the focal point. I just punched out three separate images from one of the papers and layered them on the card using foam mounting tape. I stamped my sentiment, and I'm done...in record time!

By the way, the ink used to stamp the sentiment was Water Lily Green. I'm keeping my fingers crossed that this is one of the colors being released this month at Papertrey Ink! Anybody with me?!?

Stamps: Birthday Basics (PTI)
Patterned Paper: Chick-a-Doo (SEI)
Carstock: Certainly Celery and Cool Caribbean (SU!)
Ink: Water Lily Green Palette (PTI)
Tools: 1 3/8, 1 1/4 circle punches (SU!), foam mounting tape (3M)
