It's time to celebrate! What, you ask? Well, I just started my blog July 1 of this year and I have already managed to rack up 10,000 hits as of yesterday! I want to take this opportunity to thank all of you who visit my blog, many on a regular basis. And thanks to those of you who leave the most encouraging, kind comments about my projects. I'm celebrating the beginning of my vacation this weekend! Today was my last working day and now I have 3 weeks off. I can't believe it, I never had such a long vacation. We're looking forward to celebrating our younger son and daughter-in-law's 20th wedding anniversary. He's been stationed in upper New York State for the last year and will be retiring after the first of the year after 25 years. We're saving up to send his wife to Fort Drum when he's ready to come home, and that will be their Christmas and anniversary gift. I'm making their cards today. He has his vehicle with him, so their trip back across the US will be like a second honeymoon for them to get reacquainted and perhaps stop and visit his older brother and his family in Wisconsin. They haven't seen each other for the last 3 years!
