You Mean Everything To Me

Today's post is a quick one, because this card is really rather simple. I utilized one of the great features of Stampin' Up! products - the coordinating designer paper, ink and cardstock. And I also layered, layered, layered (one of my favorite things to do!).

I used the Always set from SU! on this card. I love this set! The bird was stamped with Chocolate Chip ink on Soft Sky cardstock. I stamped the floral image around the bird to create a "frame" of sorts, then slightly inked the edges. I like the tone-on-tone look you get when you use the same color ink on the same color cardstock. For a little shimmer (gotta do it!), once again I turned to my Diamond Stickles. As you may have guessed, that stuff never gets too far away from me! I added a little here, a little there, to highlight some of the floral detail on the bird.

The ribbon isn't SU!, but from Martha Stewart's Crafts collection. It just so happens to match perfecting with the Soft Sky. I got lucky on that one!
