Everything

I created this card for the Limelight Sketch Challenge. This is the first time I have created anything for one of these sketch challenges, and it was a lot of fun to come up with my own version using just the elements required.

I used a Kraft cardstock base for this one, and I have to say that Kraft has become my new neutral at the moment. It goes with everything! And because I was using the Basic Grey patterned paper, I inked the edges on all of my pieces. (I don't know what it is about Basic Grey, but I always feel compelled to ink or distress my projects when I use it.) For my own special twist on the sketch, I added a strip of cardstock that I scalloped using my slit punch from Stampin' Up!, as I did here. And rather than use an image, I used the word "Everything" as my focal point and completed it with some ribbon and a clear button.

Something tells me this won't be the last challenge I participate in! I'll be checking back in with Limelight to see what other creative minds have done with this challenge.

Supplies:

Ink: Dark Chocolate by PTI, Dune Pigment by ColorBox
Patterned Paper: Grind and Indy Grab/Skate Shoppe by Basic Grey
Cardstock: Cool Caribbean by SU!, Kraft and Spring Moss by PTI
Stamps: Always by SU!
Tools: corner rounder by EK Success
Other: ribbon by American Crafts, foam tape by 3M, clear button by SU!

As always you have come up with a unique design that really works! I love the vintage look that I've noticed in several of your items lately! Thanks too for the fall card - loved it! I'll be expecting it in the mail - no need to wait until Thanksgiving! :-)
