Color Inspiration Challenge

I stumbled upon Kristina Werner's blog recently and decided to play along with her weekly Color Inspiration Challenge. Above is her inspiration photo and the required colors to use in the project. So here's my take:

Certainly Celery and Chocolate Chip are two of my favorite Stampin' Up! colors to put together, and the other two pinks and the Very Vanilla look so great, too. I did some pretty simple layering on this card and broke out the Wise Owl set from Papertrey Ink. The flowers were punched out in two shades of pink and layered on top of each other. The finishing touch were little tiny buttons that I glued to the centers.

This was fun! I am definitely going to try out more of these challenges. They are a great way to get you going in a different creative direction! And how adorable is that chair from Pottery Barn Kids?!?
