I've been really into using my scalloped punches lately (as you can see) and I discovered something that makes them even more fun to use! I made a scalloped frame by utilizing one of my circle punches to punch out the center of the scallop. I used this to frame some felt flowers on a card and made a very simple, elegant card that didn't require any stamps or ink! It's got a little bit of that Boho feel, unless I don't really know what Boho means (which is entirely possible). Anyway, I like how it all came together. Here is how I created my frame: I started by punching out a scallop and lightly adhering it to a piece of regular copy paper (it's too difficult to punch through two layers of cardstock, so use lightweight paper for this).
I then adhered a punched out circle (using copy paper) to the scallop. This will serve as a guide for punching out the center.
I turned my scallop punch over and lined it up over the punched circle. This will insure my punch will stay right in the center.
